Abbey Joy Awobelem, is a fourth year law student at Rivers state university. Joy’s interest in the legal profession took root in secondary school while copying and studying the note of a senior student, who was then her bunk mate. This passion grew steadily, from the fascination and curiosity of the concept “government”, as an agent especially. It’s function and responsibility to the citizens within and outside the nation, which in reality was contrary, and the urgent need to be part of an agent of reformation. She attributes her success to her mother who supported her dream despite her meagre income and responsibility of five children. Upon graduation, Joy intends to go to the Nigeria law school. After which, she will pursue a degree in Arbitration. When she is not busy studying, she loves counselling, sharing her faith, reading books, budgeting, watching thrillers and edifying content.
