This past January, our founders met with the 2017 Kponee-Shovein scholarship recipients in Nigeria to discuss the scholarship needs of university students in the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria. It was great to hear about the aspirations of our recipients and we expect great things from them!

Applications are currently being accepted for Kponee-Shovein scholars awards and for the Josephine Kponee grant award. The Kponee-Shovein awards are open to students under 30 years of age completing their first degree or post graduate degree at Rivers State University of Science & Technology, University of Port Harcourt, or Saro Wiwa Polytechnic. The Josephine Kponee grant award is limit to Ogoni females that plan on completing their first degree at  Rivers State University of Science & Technology, University of Port Harcourt, or Saro Wiwa Polytechnic.

Selected from numerous applicants, each of the recipients was chosen for their potential to make significant contributions to Nigerian society, culture, or their academic fields and will receive full tuition funding for the academic year.
